Biodynamic wine is often labeled as "witchy" due to its reliance on Rudolf Steiner’s 1920s spiritual-ethical-agricultural methods, which include burying cow horns filled with manure (Preparation 500) or quartz crystals (Preparation 501) to enhance soil microbiology and following lunar and astrological calendars for pruning and harvesting.
